Camellia
Camellia is an elegant plant with dark, glossy foliage. It is a great plant to have for a bright, cool, shaded patio. It bears large, single or double flowers which are sometimes fragrant. Flowering seasons vary with variety, but most bloom from fall to winter. LIGHT: Camellias can be temperamental if proper conditions are not met. They like it bright, but no direct sun. TEMPERATURE: They prefer cooler temperatures in the 45° to 60° range. WATER: Water with rainwater to keep the soil moist but not soggy. Morning misting is beneficial for elevating the humidity. In summer, move the plant outdoors to a bright location with no direct sun. These seasonal plants are available in 7" pots.
