FISHTAIL PALM

Fishtail palms have very long fronds with leaves that have jagged edges that look like they've been torn, much like a fish's fins or tail.

LIGHT: Fishtail palms are another one of the very sturdy palms. Although they would like a little more light than most other palms, they will tolerate lower light.

WATER: Fishtail palms like to have humidity. They will not tolerate under-watering and like to be misted occasionally, especially during the winter months when heaters are running. If they do not get enough humidity their ragged edged leaves will start turning yellow.

These plants are occasionally available in 8" or 10" pots.
