HEATHER - Erica capensis

This is a beautiful plant with lots of upright spires of tiny, pink flowers that will also keep as dried flowers provided they are sprayed with hairspray.

WATER: Keep this plant moist and away from heat. After three weeks, discontinue watering and allow the flowers to dry on the stem.. Spray with hairspray. The stems may then be cut and used as dried flowers.

This is a specialty plant that has limited availability in the winter and spring.
